Scholarship Details:

In an effort to make offsite rotations accessible to as many students as possible, we have initiated a scholarship program through WHNMC. This consists of a place to stay with a host family and transportation to and from the airport and medical center. Some of the host families will share meals with you, however, no one will actually be acting as cook. Each family is more than willing to give you space in the fridge so that you can stock up on food that you will need during the week for various meals and someone will be able to take you to the grocery store.

Please make a note on your application indicating if you have any particular allergies or sensitivities (animal allergies, fragrance sensitivities, etc). We will do our best to place you with a host family that can accomodate these needs.

There are a limited number of small cash awards to be given out each year beginning in 2007. These are intended to help with airfare and will be paid directly to the student. If you have frequent flyer miles or buddy passes, we ask that you do not apply for the cash award. In addition, a receipt for airline tickets must be presented to collect these funds.
